KNOWLEDGE CENTER

A little clarity
goes a long way.

Start with answers to common environmental inspection questions.

Visit the Knowledge Center
Can BNF perform mold remediation?

No. BNF provides independent mold assessment, testing, consulting, recommendations , and clearance testings. Remediation is performed by separate remediation contractors.

Do I need an asbestos survey before renovation or demolition?

Requirements vary based on the jurisdiction, building, project scope, and applicable regulations. BNF evaluates the applicable requirements and determines the appropriate survey scope.

What is the difference between IAQ and mold assessment?

IAQ assessment evaluates a broader range of indoor environmental conditions and potential exposure sources. Mold assessment focuses on fungal growth, moisture conditions, water-damaged materials, and, where appropriate, fungal sampling and laboratory analysis.
